Right before he started smiling!

Jack has started smiling. He started this maybe a week ago. Mostly when he would wake up in the morning but now he smiles all the time! its just so cute!

This is Christmas at Nana and Paps. Me, Robby, Gracie and Jack drove up the Friday before and hung out at the house. Saturday we got up and ate breakfast and sat around patiently awaiting the arrival of everyone else to start the Christmas celebration! We ate some great food and then we opened presents. The whole weekend was fun and exhausting at the same time.

Here is the Whole Family. It was a great weekend and Christmas at Nana and Paps. Gracie got alittle upset in this photo because she was more than ready to put on her new Pjs!

This is what Jack did throughout all the gifts! He didn't wake up until like 10 that night and he stayed up! :( He was a good little boy for Nana and Pap. I can't wait until he can play with William!

Cousin William playing with Jack. He liked to touch him on the face and Jack just laid there. Next Christmas they will be running around the house getting into everything. Nana may not have a Christmas tree standing by the end of the weekend. lol

All of Nana and Pap's grandkids, Oldest to youngest; Tiffany, Jeff, Nikki, Gracie, William, and Jack. It was great to have all of them there for Christmas.

All of us at Nana and Paps for Christmas. Jack was finally awake after sleeping through all the gift opening.

Jack's 2 month check-up

This right after his 3 shots! He cried for just alittle bit and then momma got to hold him and he was all better! He went home and ate 5 ounces and I gave him a bath and changed his clothes and then I fed him again around 1030 and he slept for like 6 almost 7 hours! yay! He is at the babysitter today and I hope my little man feels okay!

The photos got out of order. This is Jack after he was weighed and measured. He weighs 11 lbs 8 oz and is 22 and a half inches long. He is getting so big! The shots are next!!!!!! :(

Jack had his two month check-up yesterday and this is him all bundled up! He was so cute!

The first month

The first month has been both wonderful and exhausting. I have never lost this much sleep but it has been well worth it. I can remember laying in bed thinking that I should be sleeping but I would rather watch him sleep. The first month went by so fast that I wish I could have it back.

This is exactly one month old. We were just getting back from visiting Nana and Pap in Louisville and we were all a little sleepy! He is so precious!

On this day we welcomed our first son into the world. I can't not believe I have this beautiful child in my arms. The first thought about Jack was that he looked just like his father. I am hoping he would look like me but that wasn't the case. I love him more than I have ever loved anything or anyone. Its a whole new ballgame and I am ready to play!!

This boy is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. Of course I would say that, but seriously all mothers believe this to be true about their own. My life completely changed the first time I saw him. Everything I thought was important or I stressed about or I worried about was nothing. From this day on this baby is my worries, my stress, my love, my life.
